Read carefully before using gas analytics or acting on any information provided by the Gauge platform.
This Disclaimer applies to all users of the Gauge platform operated by Gauge Analytics OÜ, Estonian Business Registry code 16742983, Pärnu mnt 22, 10141 Tallinn, Estonia. By using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accepted this Disclaimer in its entirety.
This Disclaimer supplements the Terms of Service. In the event of conflict between this Disclaimer and the Terms, the Terms shall prevail.
All data, analytics, recommendations, and outputs provided by the Gauge platform are for informational purposes only. Gauge does not custody, control, or manage cryptocurrency assets. Gauge does not hold private keys, seed phrases, or any form of signing authority over any wallet. Gauge does not execute, initiate, or submit transactions on your behalf. Gauge does not request wallet connection or any form of on-chain permission.
Any representation that Gauge can or does execute transactions, or that Gauge holds assets, should be treated as fraudulent. If you encounter such claims, report them to [email protected].
Gauge sources data from publicly available blockchain state via third-party RPC providers and block explorers. This data may lag real-time conditions, may be incomplete during periods of network instability, and may contain errors introduced by upstream data providers. Gauge applies aggregation and validation logic to improve data quality but cannot guarantee accuracy.
Real-time gas estimates are best-effort estimates based on current mempool and block data. Gas conditions can change between the time you view data on Gauge and the time you submit a transaction. Always verify current conditions in your wallet software or directly via a block explorer before submitting high-value transactions.
Timing recommendations and heatmap data presented by Gauge are derived from historical gas patterns, typically 90-day rolling averages. Historical patterns do not predict future network conditions. A time window that has historically been inexpensive may not be inexpensive at the moment you transact.
Network conditions can change rapidly and unpredictably. Events including but not limited to NFT mints, token launches, protocol liquidations, MEV bot activity, and market volatility can cause sudden and severe gas price increases that override historical patterns within seconds.
Participation in cryptocurrency and blockchain-based systems involves substantial risks, including but not limited to:
Transactions on Ethereum and compatible networks can fail and still consume gas. When a transaction reverts — due to insufficient slippage tolerance, a failed contract condition, insufficient token allowance, or a race condition — the gas consumed up to the point of revert is charged and is not refunded. The base fee is burned regardless of transaction outcome.
Gauge timing and gas recommendations cannot eliminate the risk of failed transactions. Acting on Gauge data does not guarantee that a transaction will succeed, will be included in any particular block, or will be processed at the gas price shown at the time of analysis.
Layer 1 and Layer 2 blockchain networks may experience congestion, downtime, reorganizations (reorgs), consensus failures, or protocol-level bugs. Gauge cannot guarantee that any transaction will be processed within any specific time or at any specific cost. Gauge has no ability to influence transaction processing on any blockchain network.
Layer 2 networks (Arbitrum, Base, Optimism, Polygon and others tracked by Gauge) carry additional risks specific to their architecture, including sequencer downtime, withdrawal delays, and bridge-level risks. Users should understand the specific risk profile of each network before transacting.
Gauge monitors Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, Optimism, Polygon, and other networks. Gauge does not operate any of these networks and has no ability to affect their operation. The inclusion of a network or protocol in Gauge data does not constitute an endorsement of that network, protocol, or any assets associated with it.
Gauge is not affiliated with the Ethereum Foundation, Offchain Labs (Arbitrum), OP Labs (Optimism), Coinbase (Base), Polygon Labs, or any other network operator or protocol developer.

Tax treatment depends on your jurisdiction, your specific activity, and how applicable tax authorities classify the relevant transactions. Gauge does not provide tax advice.
